Mom leaves kids home alone to go on cruise? Police in North Miami Beach, Florida, say a 29-year-old mother sailed a three-night Carnival Conquest cruise to the Bahamas from PortMiami while her four children, ages 2 months to 9, were allegedly home alone. She is charged with four counts of child neglect without great bodily harm, denies the allegations, and was released on bond. Carnival says it was "a law enforcement matter unrelated to the cruise or the operation of the ship." Charges are allegations; she is presumed innocent.
